Most Spring 2017 courses are now available in Canvas! In most cases, Spring 2017 classes that you are enrolled in as an instructor should show up on your Canvas dashboard. If you are not seeing a course on your dashboard, check Courses > All Courses in the left navigation to see if the course is listed there. Then you can favorite the course to have it appear in your dashboard.
If you still don’t see a course that you are teaching in Canvas after checking in the All Courses area, please review this page in the Canvas Learning Center for more information. Departments may release their courses into Canvas at different times. Independent studies, labs, and 399- and 499-level courses must be manually pushed into Canvas from CAESAR; to request this, please email firstname.lastname@example.org.
Instructors teaching a multi-section course who need a course combine can learn more about their options. To request a course combine, fill out this form. Please do so at your earliest convenience, as your request will take two to four business days to process once submitted.
Now is also a good time to start requesting Course Reserves and Library Media materials for Spring 2017. If you plan to use a combined course to house your Course Reserves or Library Media, please wait until you have your course combined before requesting your library materials. This will ensure that your requests are processed as efficiently as possible. For more information about Course Reserves, you may contact Main Library Reserves via email at email@example.com or by phone at 847-491-7681.
