Get to know TEACHxpert speaker Derek Bruff

We hope you’ll join us on April 25, when the fourth guest speaker in the TEACHxpert series, Derek Bruff, will speak on active learning.

Bruff is the director of Vanderbilt University’s Center for Teaching and a senior lecturer in the Vanderbilt Department of Mathematics. The Center helps faculty and graduate students enhance their foundational teaching skills and explores new ideas in teaching and learning. We suggest checking out Bruff’s blog, Agile Learning, to learn more about his approach.

Bruff also hosts an informative educational technology podcast called Leading Lines. His podcast discusses innovations in the education landscape. You may also want to follow him on Twitter, too.

Register for one of the guest speaker events to explore active learning strategies.

And remember to register for TEACHx 2017, a one-day conference showcasing teaching and learning innovation. It will be held on May 19, 2017, here at Northwestern.
